1. A fair degree of ductility (elongation % > 30)

1. Plain Carbon Steels up to 0.45% C

2. Low alloy steels with:

• Manganese and Nickel > 1%

• Molybdenum and Silicon < 0.5%

• Chromium < 1.5%

• Vanadium upto 0.2%

3. Certain types of Stainless steels

4. Non-ferrous materials like:

• Electrolytic Copper-Tellurium copper

• 70-30 Brass

• Aluminum of 99.5% or higher purity

• Aluminum alloy
